Galapagos II

I had to finish my story...that was only the beginning....

I went on my way exploring the Island of Santa Cruz. Waking up early for a new boat ride was actually quite exciting....I was ready!

This day was devoted to a little hiking, but more importantly....TORTOISES....GIANT TORTOISES. Especially "Lonely George" He is the last of his species and they cannot breed because he is unfortunately he can not reproduce. I think they thought that putting two female tortoises by his side would help...but it didn't. Talk about pimping Tortoises, but it was for a good cause!

Then we visited all of the baby tortoises at the Charles Darwin Center on Santa Cruz. They were sooo cute.

So, if you know anything about me AT ALL...you know how much I love them! These giant tortoises are no different. So I decided to get up close and personal. Talk to them. See what it was like living for like 150 years or so. At first, I think he was ignoring me....






But I couldn't give up of course. There was so much he could teach me about life...so we talked

In fact...we talked so much that, I turned into a turtle.....
