I was inspired to start this blog by one of my coworkers. She has a blog and updates it periodically. Instead of emailing everyone who wants to know what's going on with me in Ecuador, I figured the best thing to do is to create my own blog with my own address. How cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will try to write often and keep people up to date on how I am doing. As you know I am leaving July 14, the day before Mom's birthday. So, I guess it would be okay to skip out on a gift. (sorry Mom, it was a joke).
I am prepared and ready to go. Actually, my program director emailed me today. She wants me to send an updated resume so she can pass it on. That way, maybe I can find a job before I am certified. So once, I get my certification in English as a Foreign Language, I could get a job. I am interested in working with adults mostly, but any experience will be valuable.
Don't worry, I will keep you all posted on how I'm doing. I know you will miss me. I will miss ya'll too. But I will be having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
